Web Design Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all website design/development services provided by Glow Digital. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as they will form a contract between us and you; your acceptance of which is agreed from the moment you sign our proposal/price quotation or make a payment for our services.

We have tried to keep these Terms and Conditions brief, easy to understand, and as straightforward as possible. If you have any questions, however, please do not hesitate to contact us.

1.Payments:

Charges for the web design services are defined in the price quotation that the Client receives from us via email. All price quotations are valid for a period of 30 days. Glow Digital reserves the right to alter or decline to honour a quotation after the 30 days has expired. Web design projects require an advance payment of 50% of the project total cost, with the remaining 50% due upon completion of the work.

2.Content:

Client agrees to provide, within a reasonable timescale, all content – including texts, logos, images, videos – we need to complete the project. Client agrees to submit all content via ticketing/helpdesk system (“client portal”) provided by Glow Digital, and email shall not be used for routine project communication, unless otherwise agreed.

Acceptable content text formats: .txt., .rtf, .doc, .docx, .xls, .ppt

Acceptable image formats: .jpg, .gif, .png and .tiff

Image size: Ideally no smaller than 1024×768 pixels

Supplied content must match the approved sitemap and website structure. Content must be final, edited and proof-read before submission. If the Client would like us to provide any additional editing or modification of content (such as proof-reading, photo editing or photo retouching), we may charge additional fees to cover our time and expenses.

3.Revisions

The Client has the opportunity to make revisions to the design. However, Glow Digital reserves the right to limit the number of designs to a reasonable amount or charge an additional fee if the Client makes a significant change to the original design specification.

Minor variations to the design can be accommodated during the development phase.  However, any major changes will be charged at Glow Digital’s standard hourly rates.

4.Project Timing and Client Liability

Any time frames or estimates given by Glow Digital are contingent upon the Client’s full co-operation. Please submit all required materials and review all work promptly in order to prevent unnecessary delays. The Client should also nominate a single point of contact who is available on a daily basis in order to expedite the feedback process.

5.Project Completion

On completion of the work, the Client will be notified and have the opportunity to review it. The Client must notify Glow Digital, in writing, of any unsatisfactory points within 7 days of such notification. Any of the work which has not been reported in writing to us as unsatisfactory within the 7-day review period will be deemed to have been approved. Once approved, or deemed approved, work cannot subsequently be rejected and the contract will be deemed to have been completed.

6.Additional Services:

Services in addition to those mentioned in the proposal/price quotation will be made available according to Glow Digital’s current pricing and will be billed separately. Additional services include, but are not limited to: web banner design, logo design, photo editing, content writing and translation. Any expenses exclusive of normal overhead are not included in this agreement and will be invoiced separately.

7.Meetings:

All meetings are conducted remotely and according to a schedule agreed jointly in advance by Glow Digital and Client. If the Client wishes for Glow Digital representatives to be present onsite to conduct staff trainings, executive presentations, hands-on workshops, or for any other purpose, such meetings shall be treated as a separate service for a separate fee. Additional meetings will require at least 7 days’ notice and will be subject to availability.

8.Copyrights and Trademarks:

All supplied content, including text, graphics, videos, photos, content, designs, trademarks, or other artwork must be owned by the Client, or the Client has been granted permission from the rightful owner(s) to use each of these elements. Please be advised that obtaining permission to use any photos, texts, design elements or trademarks is entirely the Client’s responsibility and we are in no way liable or responsible for any material supplied to us in connection with the project.

9.Domain Names:

Glow Digital can purchase a domain name on behalf of the Client. In such cases, Glow Digital will usually pay the first year’s registration fee. Subsequent renewals are always the Client’s responsibility, and the Client is advised to keep a record of the renewal dates to avoid the loss or cancellation of the domain brought about by non or late payment.

10.Support:

Content on your website should always be kept fresh and up to date, and we want you to be comfortable doing this after the website goes live. This is why all our web design plans include a free support package. Free support is provided for the period of time specified in the price quotation and includes general advice and information on how to manage your website. We will do our best to help with support queries promptly via phone or email. We cannot, however, take any responsibility for changes you make to your site. Any amendments and edits to the site after the project has been completed will be charged at an hourly rate specified by Glow Digital.

11.Work Credit:

Client agrees to allow Glow Digital to use Client’s name and website for company promotions, online portfolio, past clients list, on social media, in print material, etc. for advertising and promoting Glow Digital’s services to other companies.

12.Service Location and Working Hours:

The services provided under this agreement shall be performed at Glow Digital’s place of business. Work shall take place during Glow Digital’s normal office hours, which are from 9:30 to 18:00, Monday through Friday.
